The Keys to Entrepreneurial Success

Contrary to popular belief, the keys to entrepreneurial success are not rooted in a college degree and/or large sums of investment capital. Neither Wallace “Famous” Amos, founder of Famous Amos Cookies or Russell Simmons, founder of Def Jam Records had a college degree when they started their respective businesses. Nor did they have large sums of investment capital. Instead, what each man had was a legitimate product (service) to offer to consumers and well–thought–out marketing plans. Other positive traits these two successful entrepreneurs shared was their willingness to work hard and faith, not only in their product (service), but in a power much greater than themselves.
